  • September Potluck and Prayer

    9/15 4:30-7:00PM

Come anytime after 4:30, we’ll eat around 5 and gather for prayer before dessert.

Evening prayer consists of written prayers and scripture readings. We'll have a gentle lesson for the kids and the opportunity for them to work on a response activity during the readings and prayers. We expect the service to take around 30 minutes.

RSVP below if you’re interested in attending and we’ll reach out with more details!

  • Morning Prayer

    9/22 9:00-9:30 AM

Following the Morning Prayer office from the 2019 Book of Common Prayer, this brief service has been used by individuals as part of a daily prayer routine for centuries. The service consists of written prayers and selected Bible passages.

RSVP below so we can update you with details. While we don’t plan to have a lesson specifically geared toward kids, this brief service allows kids to be present and engage with the scripture and prayers as they’re able. We expect this to take around 30 minutes.

  • October Lectio Divina and Dessert

    10/6 6:00-7:00 PM

We invite you to join us at our house after supper for a brief time of Bible meditation using the historic practice of lectio divina. After our time of meditation (maybe 20 minutes of focused time), we'll share dessert and hang out. We’ll be using a book called Meeting God in Scripture by Jan Johnson as our guide. You can participate fully with just a Bible, but you may find you’d like to be able to reference the book before or after.

Dating back to the church fathers, lectio divina is a way of reading the Bible intentionally and prayerfully. It consists of reading the passage slowly (sometimes more than once), reflecting on the passage, responding with prayer, and finally resting in God’s presence. RSVP for more details!
